Munich - Pelatih Timnas Jerman Joachim Loew telah mengumumkan skuad sementara untuk tampil di Piala Eropa 2012. Selain memanggil nama-nama yang sudah familiar, dua pemain muda tanpa caps turut masuk daftar.



Loew memanggil semua pemain terbaik yang dimiliki oleh Jerman, termasuk Per Mertesacker yang masih menjalani proses pemulihan cedera pergelangan kaki. Bek Arsenal itu akan mulai bergabung di pemusatan latihan tim di Italia.



Dalam daftar berisikan 27 nama tersebut, Bayern Munich mengirim delapan pemainnya dan lima lainnya datang dari sang juara bertahan Borussia Dortmund.



Adapun kejutan yang dibuat Loew adalah terpilihnya pemain Schalke berusia 18 tahun Julian Draxler dan kiper Borussia Moenchengladbach berusia 20 tahun, Marc-Andre ter Stegen.



"Julian Draxler memang belum pernah bermain di timnas, tapi dia punya potensi luar biasa, terutama dengan kecepatan dalam situasi satu lawan satu," papar Loew di AFP.



Beroperasi di lini tengah, Draxler baru dua musim "promosi" ke tim utama Schalke. Di musim ini, ia sudah 45 kali tampil dengan sumbangan lima gol.



Di sisi lain, ter Stegen sempat memiliki masa sulit sebelum mampu menjadi kiper nomor satu Gladbach di musim ini. Pemuda dengan postur 1,89 meter itu bahkan tak jarang disebut-sebut memiliki kemampuan sebaik Manuel Neuer.



Pada 29 Mei nanti, Loew harus merampingkan empat pemainnya dari dalam daftar untuk diberangkatkan ke Polandia dan Ukraina.
