Here are the notes and news from the week in pro wrestling: Wrestling fans smell what The Rock is cooking this time. WWE received a much-needed shot in the arm this week when Dwayne Johnson, whose acting career was launched by pro wrestling, was revealed as the guest host of Wrestlemania 27.



WWE has been searching for major stars to lead the company into the future.



Perhaps The Rock can bridge the gap between the past and future.



� Former WWE announcer Jim Ross would love to return to broadcasting. But it probably won�t happen in the near future.



�I�m feeling great and ready to call a match or two if needed but I am and will remain a team guy so whatever the team wants is cool with me,� Ross wrote on his blog at jrsbarbq.com.



The Local Corner: TWA�s Rumble in the Concrete Jungle is scheduled for Feb. 26.



In matches from Saturday night: Jam Styles defeated Kid Watkins and Krypto; Dino Dupree downed Billy Jester by submission; Iceman Jr. qualified for the Rumble in the Concrete Jungle title match by beat Alex Summers and Jayke Murphy; Fantasy and Drew Meyers topped Toy Dodson and Tiffany Lynn; Ryan Andrews won his debut at the Action Zone by defeating Michael Cross; Dodson turned back Matt Maverick Jr., Drew Game and Tyler Sutton to survive the $5,000 dollar bounty on his head.



TWA Friday Night Brawl runs at 8 p.m. at the TWA Arena off Reed Road in north Whitfield County, about three miles north of the bypass. The TWA Action Zone runs at 8 p.m. on Saturdays. AWA runs at 2 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets for all shows are $5 for adults and $3 for ages 6 to 12. Kids younger than 6 are admitted free. Any military member with proper identification will be admitted free. If it�s your birthday, you will be admitted free. Senior citizens 60 years and older with proof of age will be admitted for $3.
