Iran mengancam militer Amerika Serikat untuk tidak memasuki wilayah perairan Teluk Persia dan Selat Hormuz. Iran merasa kalau tindakan militer AS yang melintasi Selat Hormuz dan Teluk Persia adalah tindakan provokatif. Jika AS tetap melanggar, Iran sudah siap untuk berperang.
