I spent a few weeks in Cusuco National Park this summer as a research assistant and took my Nikon D80 with me. Bear in mind I only had the camera for two weeks prior to the trip so I was still a novice when it came to using the correct settings. Hopefully by next summer when I go to Honduras for 2 months I will be more advanced.

This is an adult female Jumping Viper found at high elevations in Cusuco National Park in Honduras.

This is a sub-adult Godman's Viper doing some nice posing for the camera. If you look close you can see the fangs protruding from the top jaw.

Another shot of the Godman's Viper.

This small salamander (Bolitoglossa sp.) was found on climbing on this

banana leaf late one night.

I spent about 20 minutes snapping pictures of this Green palm Viper (Bothriechis marchi) and unfortunately this is the only one that turned out.

I almost walked head first into this guy.
