Common Bluebottle

This is a fast flyer. Not an easy butterfly to shoot as it is usually restless and even when feed ing flit from flowers to flowers. However when they are 'puddling' that is taking moisture off the ground with their probosis, it is a different story as in this case. They tend to remain and return to the spot when disturb for quite awhile.</p>
