Windy Storm C&C please

This was a tornadic storm north of Oklahoma City from last month.</p>
<p>This is also from a bridge P&amp;S Lumix camera..I have seen the same picture from my friends DSLRs and there is a big light difference.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>How can I improve this? or just improve my weather photography for the next chase? Any technical things I need to remember?</p>
