Bear Photography

Hi,

 

I am new to this forum and just wanted some advice. I live in Transylvania and photograph a lot of wild flowers and everyday life in and around the village. However, when on the meadow near my house I often see deer and buzzard. However, on this occasion a brown bear made an appearance! I was at about 400 metres, but my cousin's camera nor mine have the capability to get a good shot at that distance. Any advice on what kit to buy second hand on as low a budget as possible for reasonable quality shots?
