Here is a photo I took a few weeks back. I took several, and chose this one because of the sharp focus on the leaf. In this photo I wanted to express the feeling of solitude in a confident sense. What I mean, is this leaf to me seemed strong, and bold. It survived/lasted on the tree and the others didn't. So I wanted to portray the leaf so you could still see the tree (branches in the background) but the leaf being all alone.
