Su Wong menikah dengan Lee Wong, keduanya berkulit putih dan berambut lurus. Tahun berikutnya, keluarga Wong memiliki bayi baru. Perawat membawa kepada mereka seorang bayi laki-laki berkulit hitam dan rambut keriting.

"Selamat!" kata perawat, "Mr Wong, apa nama yang akan Anda berikan untuk bayi Anda?"

Si ayah bingung melihat bayi mereka yang baru itu dan berkata, "Saya pikir kami akan memberinya nama Sam Ting Wong."
