Versi singkat:



Skywrath Mage Dragonus disumpah untuk melindungi siapa pun yang duduk di Nest of Thorns dan dia adalah seorang teman dan pendamping yang tertua Skywrath Princess Shendelzare (yang nantinya jadi vengefull spirit) dan jatuh cinta dengan dia, tapi kemudian ia begitu sibuk dengan studi arcane ny sehingga melewatkan tanda-tanda pemberontakan terhadap Shendelzare sehingga ia tidak bisa bertindak pada waktunya.



Shendelzare diserang oleh adiknya( kalo di dota1 adik nya itu Phantom assasin), dan dia hanya bisa merobek sayapnya supaya bebas pembunuhan, tapi jika dia merobek sayapnya sendiri. dia tidak bisa diterima sebagai ratu, sehingga si shendelzare mencari balas dendam, ia menyerahkan tubuhnya rusak untuk dewi Scree'auk dengan imbalan kekuatan gelap.



Dragonus(skywarth mage), bahkan setelah mengetahui kebenaran, tidak bisa berbuat apa-apa karena ia bersumpah untuk melindungi keturunan Skywrath, sehingga untuk bertindak melawan Vengefull spirit akan membuat dia tak berdaya. Ia percaya bahwa suatu hari ia akan mengembalikan cintanya ke tempat yang selayaknya dan dalam, bentuk fisiknya asli si vengefull spirit.
