"Ipang Kurniawan (29) semalam ditangkap di rumahnya. Pacarnya, Kim-kim (26) masih kita kejar," ujar Kanit Reskrim Polsek Tanjung Duren AKP Johari Bule kepada wartawan, Kamis (9/6/2011).

Tiap kali melancarkan aksinya, kata Johari, modus pasangan kekasih ini selalu merampas paksa tas korbannya. Bahkan senjata tajam digunakan untuk menakut-nakuti sang korban.

"Cowoknya yang jambret, si cewek cuma nampung barangnya," jelas Johari.

Saat ditangkap petugas berhasil mengamankan 13 sim card handphone, 6 dompet dan 3 STNK hasil kejahatan. Menurut Johari, berdasarkan pengakuan tersangka, uang hasil kejahatan digunakan untuk foya-foya bersama pacarnya.

"Setelah menjambret handphone, langsung dijual," ungkap Johari.

Ipang diketahui baru 2 bulan lalu meninggalkan LP Cipinang karena kasus narkotika. Polisi kembali memburunya berdasar banyaknya korban penjambretan yang melaporkan ciri-ciri pelaku mirip dengan Ipang.

Kini Ipang mendekam di sel tahanan Polsek Tanjung Duren. Bandit jalanan ini dijerat dengan pasal 365 KUHP tentang perampokan dengan ancaman penjara di atas lima tahun penjara.
