Despite their tough year, Berlusconi feels that Filippo Inzaghi's men can become one of the strongest sides on the continent. He is targeting a third-place finish in the league and victory in the Coppa Italia.
"I have always said that I would never trade our squad with anyone in Italy," he told Milan Channel.
"Not with Roma's or even Juventus'.
"I think we have the opportunity, with this squad, to return to be protagonists in Italy, in Europe and in the world.
"This year we want third place in the league - we need to get into Europe - and we also want to win the Coppa Italia."
