The GoPro range of extreme sports cameras has already taken the world by storm and with the introduction of the HD HERO 2, this enormously fun and adaptable camera just got better. It�s still extremely tough and 60m waterproof (197 feet), but can now record 11 megapixel still images as well as Full 1080p HD movies (previously 5MP with the original HD Hero). This high stills resolution can also be utilised when recording action sequences at up to 10 frames per second. Other features include a stereo mic socket (mono built-in), 2x sharper glass lens, integrated battery warmer and 2x faster image procesor.

As always, the GoPro is ideal for mounting onto a multitude of different surfaces and its modular design means that you can add to the system as you go, and as your needs dictate, be it on the bike, canoeing or on-piste.

The HD HERO 2 also has a 170� field of view, ideal for keeping fast action within the frame, and is still compatible with all current GoPro expansion accessories and BacPacs.
