I have just got this headphone for several hours and it�s now in the process of breaking in. Out of the box, it sounds quite muddy, but I found it very interesting that the mids on this headphone is very forward. As a Grado user, the highs on this headphone don�t impress me though. The bass is deep, pretty tight but not very punchy and sure won�t satisfy bassheads.
The packaging is very simple and straightforward, no hassle in getting this headphone out (unlike ATHs, I work in a headphone shop so I pretty much know and hate ATH complex packaging). The build quality of the product is very good, in which the body is made out of plastic with glossy finishing, therefore very prone to fingerprints and scratches. The synthetic-leather pads is very comfy, but I guess the weight of the headphone is what makes it very uncomfortable for prolonged usage, but I think it�s no problem and it seems that our body can adjust to it overtime. I found the cable to be very long (2m) and might require a cable winder for portable use.
Compared to its bigger brother, the SRH840, this headphone is smaller in size, the cable is not detachable, and the headphone cannot be folded. The SRH840 sounds much more natural to my ears straight out of the box, while the SRH240 is more suitable for R&B and Trance despite the lack on bass department, but I�m pretty sure that this headphone is packed with surprises. I can�t wait for the hour 100!

now this thing really sings, hahaha.. dipair sama M1 jg udah ga fatiguing lagi skr, lebih kalem bassnya, midnya smooth, highnya nga sibilance lagi, detail n analytical bgt, recording jelek dikit kerasa deh..
