"I bought a pair of LS7's, new, in 1984 for about �330. I auditioned them against Mission, KEF and something else similar and found them to be quite outstanding. In recent years I have compared them with new speakers in the �1200 plus bracket and they are STILL outstanding! I use mine daily and the only enhancement I have invested in (about 6 years ago) is a 3 metre pair of good quality cables/gold connectors at a cost of �80.
