Civil Engineering



Requirements :

1. Male, Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering from reputable university, preferably field training experience

2. Experience in tendering process (lead tender to goal phase)

3. 4-5 years of experience as constructions civil engineers

4. Has full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating assignments and managing projects. Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering for larger scope projects with multiple internal and external clients.

5. Thinks and works independently.

6. Ability to liaise with government institutions for legalities/permits



Responsibility :

1. Design the construction according to the Risk assessment of the project

2. Working with a team of experts and removing all the kink in the planning stages itself

3. Getting the plans approved from the proper authorities

4. Taking all the adequate permissions for beginning construction work

5. Doing safety check on the site of the construction

6. Being present on the site of the construction and making sure all the plans are being implemented properly

7. Attending to all the problems that arise during construction

8. Filing reports with the firm they work for

9. Conducting research on all the structures built by them

10. Handling the labor work for the construction

11. Apply creative designs that will be cost effective and conserve energy

12. They also have to check the material that is being purchased

13. Coordinate with contractors which ensures smooth flow of work

14. Meet the deadlines or else the price of construction increases

15. Do a safety check after the work is done

16. Regularly develops and evaluates project plans.

17. Identifies potential clients and work.

18. Secures and manages clients and contracts.

19. Assists Business Line Managers in the development of new business, marketing to potential and existing clients.

20. Provides advice and consultation to client as regards to engineering matters, including compliance with government laws and regulations.

21. Assist with QC/QA and value engineering for the infrastructure/engineering department.
