Role Synopsis

• The geophysicist position will be responsible to provide geological and geophysical interpretation based on certain seismic data

Key Accountabilities

• Provide geological and geophysical interpretation based on 2D and/or 3D seismic data
• Provide input to play fairway analysis and application of BP�s Exploration Common Process
• Integrate geological concepts in geophysical evaluation
• Maturing prospects to be drill ready
• Provide geophysical input to the well planning
• Understand the key seismic processing steps and basic acquisition
• Understand advance geophysical methods (AVO, seismic rock properties, seismic attributes, et al)
• Generate and deliver of high quality technical presentations to Indonesia team management, exploration excellence and BPMIGAS
• Produce technical documentation

Essential Education

• At minimum bachelor degree in Geophysics from a reputable university

Essential Experience and Job Requirements

• At minimum 5 years of experience as exploration/appraisal geophysicist
• Good understanding in geophysical interpretation tools
• Excellent team work skill and communication in English and Bahasa

Desirable Criteria & Qualifications

• Familiar with landmark suites
• Knowledgeable in seismic processing and acquisition
• Knowledgeable in non-seismic method
