Default Mount Batukaru, Bali

Mountains Batukaru still leaves naturalness and beauty of mountain scenery on the island of Bali. With a height of 2275 meters above sea level, the mountain has become one alternative for those who love to climb.

From experience ever go up to Mount Batukaru, a trip to the top of this mountain is fun, cool, green and very quiet, but in times of rain this place has become very dangerous. The surface of the path was slippery in the dry season becomes very slippery and many of them bruised and even sprained. So be careful.

Travel to Mount Batukaru usually takes 3-6 hours. Can be done one way, but usually people who climb taking the time to spend before reaching the mountaintop. Guide can be found in the village of Wangaya Gede ,2 km south of the Pura Luhur Batukaru and can rent a tent there.

At the foot of the mountain Batukaru, there is Pura Luhur Batukaru, one of the Sad Kahyangan. To reach this temple by the road pretty hard to do. Steep terrain requires a fairly powerful engine to be arrived at there. If in fact could you use public transportation, ride public transportation but usually available when there are ceremonies in the temple. A typical day, you should bargain the price with the driver for going to ride up.

You can reach Pura Luhur Batukaru through several ways, first was hired at the terminal bemo Tuwakilang ( in Tabanan, of course ) and then headed to the Jatiluwih via Penebel. Jatiluwih is a village with stunning views of rice fields. You can also bring your own vehicle, first look for a terminal bemo then the road to the north and approximately 3 km before the market of Penebel you must turn left ( west ) and you 'll arrived at the hot springs Yeh Panas.
