The Vox Lil Night Train is an even more compact version of the Vox Night Train head, delivering 2 ferocious watts of tube-powered tone. The Vox Lil Night Train head is powered by a single 12Au7 power tube, with two 12ax7's in the preamp section, perfect for getting that cranked Vox punch at very friendly volumes. It's portability and modest output make it a invaluable for studio recording, small gigs, or just jamming in the bedroom. The speaker output lets you plug it into a wide variety of cabinets, and a combination line/headphone out lets you go straight into the board or straight into a pair of cans. It even features a cabinet simulator for realistic mic'd cab tones. Sculpting tones on the Vox Lil Night Train is easy with it's treble and bass controls, plus it's Bright/Thick switch. In bright mode you get classic Vox chime, while thick mode bypasses the EQ and pumps up the gain for meatier sound.
