Any problems purchasing tv from Internet?

Hi,

I've been looking around my local brick and mortar stores and their prices are about $400~500 more than what I could get from a Internet dealer.
Worried about the shipping as the tv (thinking of 32" LCD) would be hard to ship back without a expensive rate. Any one had any problems or things to watch out for before making the purchase.
I intent to one deal with the more popular places like New Egg, etc but never ordered before.

Any help will be apprecited.
