One more in the black background series. For this I used milk dropped from an eyedropper into water in a cast iron frying pan. Speedlite 430EX ll set to low and off to the right, very close to the drop to illuminate only the splash.

The skull and crossbones are on a plate from the Dollar Store. It is sitting about 10 inches behind where the drop of water will fall. The image behind the drop must be upside down to catch the refraction the right way. The Speedlite 430 EX ll external flash is directed at the plate and not at the drop.

Foto2 diatas merupakan karya dari fotografer profesional yang bernama Corrie White (61). Sebenarnya di lebih suka kalo disebut fotografer amatir. Tapi setelah melihat hasil kerjanya? :D. Corrie lebih memilih menggunakan susu sebagai objeknya karena susu jatuh lebih lama dibandingkan air. Susu dan air yang akan difoto diberi pewarna makanan terlebih dahulu supaya menghasilkan efek yang ok. Dia mengatakan " saya mempunyai kemampuan yang lebih dalam perkiraan waktu pengambilan gambar, namun terkadang tetesan tersebut lebih cepat jatuh dari pada yang saya perkirakan. Tingkat keberhasilan saya adalah sekitar satu dari setiap 25 kali pengambilan gambar "
