JAKARTA -- Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) seolah "frustasi" karena belum berhasil menangkap tersangka kasus suap cek pelawat Nunun Nurbaeti. Padahal, KPK telah menempuh berbagai macam upaya untuk membawa pulang istri mantan Wakapolri Adang Daradjatun itu.

"KPK sudah berusaha semaksimal mungkin tapi memang saat ini belum bisa," kata Juru Bicara KPK Johan Budi di kantornya, Kamis (24/11). Johan mengatakan, salah satu kekurangan KPK adalah tidak memiliki aparat atau anggotanya di luar negeri.

Alhasil upaya penangkapan Nunun masih bergantung di kewenangan negara tempat Nunun bersembunyi. "Sehingga yang bisa menangkap Nunun itu adalah Kepolisian Internasional (Interpol)," kata Johan.

Terkait dengan foto Nunun yang sedang melakukan aktifitas di Singapura dan beredar di dunia maya (jaringan internet), Johan mengatakan hal tersebut harus diidentifikasi terlebih dahulu. Yang jelas, KPK hingga saat ini terus melakukan upaya perburuan untuk menangkap Nunun dan pulang ke tanah air.

Seperti diketahui, Nunun ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dalam kasus suap pemenangan Miranda S Gultom sebagai Deputi Gubernur Senior Bank Indonesia (DGS BI) sejak Februari 2011. Namun Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) baru mengumumkannya beberapa bulan kemudian.

Sejak jadi tersangka, Nunun pun jadi buronan Interpol. Saat ditetapkan sebagai tersangka itu, Nunun tak diketahui rimbanya di luar negeri.
