Bangalore, India - Berbicara soal wanita biasanya jarang sekali yang memimpikan menggunakan moge sekelas Harley-Davidson. Namun berbeda dengan wanita asal India satu ini.

Ketertarikannya pada roda dua membuat ia berani mencoba duduk di atas Harley-Davidson Iron 883. Seperti dilansir Times of India, (7/7/2011) wanita tersebut ialah Sheeja Mathews (34).

Sheeja tercatat sebagai kaum hawa pertama yang menjinakkan Harley-Davidson di India. Wuih keren juga ni.

"Meskipun ada superbike lain di India, saya selalu bermimpi untuk memiliki apa yang saya yakini sebagai superbike paling unggul yakni Harley-Davidson," tandas Sheeja.

Sheeja yang berumur 34 tahun ini baru mendapatkan motor Harley-nya pada Senin 4 Juli 2011 lalu setelah memesannya di showroom pada bulan Februari lalu.

Sheeja menghabiskan dana 124 juta untuk mewujudkan niatnya mengendarai moge HD. Sheeja memang menyenangi motor dan olahraga seperti drag race.

Dia sudah mengendarai motor sejak umur 15 tahun. Selama sekitar 10 tahun ini, Sheeja mengendarai motor Yamaha Rajdoot 350 milik suaminya untuk berangkat bekerja. Setelah memiliki Harley apakah dirinya akan mengendarainya ke kantor?

"Wah karena macet, paling saya hanya mengendarainya ke kantor sekali dalam seminggu saja. Saya akan menggunakannya di akhir pekan saja. Anak saya yang berumur 7 tahun sudah tak sabar untuk pamer motor ini di sekolahnya," ujarnya.
