- Gimana caranya Reset Blackberry?

Sperti yang temen2 ketahui, me-reset BB adalah langkah pertama yang diambil untuk mengatasi masalah di BB. Ini beberapa macem tipe dari RESET BB.. Hard Reset, Soft Reset, Double-soft reset.. Kegunaan dari masing2 reset ini berbeda2 lho..

1. SOFT RESET
Cara soft reset gampaang.. tinggal pencet ALT+ SHIFT kanan (CAP)+DELETE.

2. DOUBLE-SOFT reset
Double-Soft reset akan men stop semua aplikasi di BB dan hampir sama dengan melakukan hard-reset. Yg perlu diperhatikan adalah TIMING nya.
Lakukan soft reset seperti di nomer 1, layar akan jadi blank. Pas layar udah ga hitam aja, teken ALT+ SHIFT kanan (CAP)+DELETE lagi. .Layar akan blank lagi, trus jam pasir akan keluar. .Tunggu sampe BB ready lagi. .

3.HARD RESET
Simpel aja. .Cabut batre 30 detik, pasang lagi. BB akan boot dari awal.
Hard Reset adalah langkah pertama kalo ada masalah di network, software atau hardware.

1. Pastikan semua Tools sudah terinstall dengan baik. Letakkan SHRINK OS di Desktop agar mudah dicari

2. Back up Dulu BB lo pake Desktop Manager

3. Wipe BB Caranya

4. Copot BB dari PC / Laptop

5. Install OS yang mau di SHRINK. Boleh Official, Leaked ataupun HYBRID.

6. Jalankan program SHRINK OS yang ada di Desktop

[Tutorial] Install OS BB rev. 6

PENTING!!!!
Harap baca & lakukan sama persis

· Desktop Manager (DM) sudah di-install di PC (ada di CD bawaan BB) (untuk pengguna Windows 7 : gunakan DM 5 / DM 6).
· Download dulu OS BB yg akan di-install (petunjuk install OS ada di tuts ini).
· Install ke PC hanya 1 (satu) OS → yaitu OS yg akan diload ke BB.
· Versi DM & Versi OS yg di-install ke PC bisa dilihat & bisa di-uninstall dari Control Panel – add remove program
· Untuk Windows Vista & 7 → disable UAC (User Account Control) dr control panel

· Pastikan PC & BB dalam keadaan normal (BB dalam kondisi ON).
· Backup data sblm mulai.
· Sebaiknya BB di-wipe dgn bbsak sblm upgrade (wajib wipe sblm downgrade)(JANGAN BUKA JLCMDR/BBSAK BERBARENGAN DGN DM!!!).
· Tuts ini jg bs digunakan untuk downgrade OS / menambahkan East Asian Languange (CJK)

Step #1 : Install OS BB ke PC
Browse ke folder tempat anda menyimpan OS yg anda download. Kemudian install file OS tsb ke PC/Laptop

Step #2 : Delete file vendor.xml
Pada PC, browse ke folder :
[C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\]
Keterangan :
delete vendor.xml : untuk menginstall OS yg bukan dr operator/vendor BB anda
Note : ada beberapa kasus dimana file vendor.xml ‘muncul’ lagi setelah di-delete, jika hal itu terjadi → matikan koneksi internet PC anda sblm mulai ritual upgrade.

Step #3 : Sambungkan BB ke USB PC dan jalankan Loader.exe (Windows vista & 7 : Run Loader.exe as admin)

Step #4 : Pilih Application yg akan di-install ke BB (Bahasa, BBM dll)
Dibawah ini adalah contoh standard aplikasi & bahasa yg biasanya saya install.(sesuaikan dgn kebutuhan anda)
S/MIME & DOD Root Certificates tidak perlu diinstall
-Baca mengenai S/MIME

Step #5 : tunggu hingga proses loading OS selesai
Lepaskan BB dr USB PC dan tunggu hingga BB restart (± 5 menit).

BlackBerry Error Code List

List dari kode error yang bisa saja terjadi di Java Virtual Machine (JVM) BlackBerry anda:

1. 101 Internal JVM error.

2. 102 Invalid code in file system. The .cod files in the handheld have been checked for modification and it has been determined that there is a problem with one or more .cod files.

3. 103 The starting address for the boot .cod file cannot be found. This might mean that a boot .cod file has not been installed on the handheld, or that its format is invalid or corrupt.

4. 104 An uncaught Java exception was thrown in the Java code and diagnosed by the JVM. Execution can be continued or the handheld can be attached to a debugger on a desktop through a serial or USB cable. The event log should contain the traceback of the thrown exception.

5. 105 An OS file system API returned. an error status for a certain
operation. This can indicate a corrupt file system or an error in the JVM.

6. 106 An error has been detected in the graphics system of the handheld.
7. 107 Internal JVM error.
8. 108 Internal JVM error.
9. 109 Internal OS error.
10. 110 Non-idle event downtime error. A problem has been detected in the accumulation of JVM down time that represents how long the JVM has been idle. This indicates an error in either the OS code or the JVM code.

11. 200 Application manager threw an uncaught exception. The application manager event thread threw an uncaught exception and so cannot continue running.

12. 201 Initialization of the cryptographic system failed and the handheld cannot continue to operate.

13. 202 An attack on the key store has been detected, and the handheld cannot continue to operate.

14. 203 The application manager console process, usually the Home screen ribbon, has failed, like due to an uncaught exception.

15. 501 Internal error.
16. 502 All processes exited. The last Java process has terminated, and there is nothing left to execute.

17. 503 Internal error.
18. 504 Internal error.
19. 505 Internal error.
20. 506 An uncaught Java exception was thrown in the initial VM Java thread thus killing the only live thread in the system. The event log contains the traceback for the exception.

21. 507 A dependency on a .cod file could not be satisfied due to a missing .cod file. Load the missing .cod file onto the handheld.

22. 508 Invalid object. A problem has been detected with a debugger command to the VM.

23. 516 Error occurred during garbage collection, which might indicate a corrupted file system.

24. 510 All threads are waiting on objects, which results in a deadlock. The system cannot recover from this state since no thread can release a lock.

25. 511 A problem has occurred during debugging.

26. 515 The reachable objects form a group that cannot be represented properly by the VM because there are too many objects or the total size of the objects is too large.

27. 516 When committing a persistent object, the VM found that the persistent store id counter has reached its limit. The object was not committed.

28. 517 An inconsistency has been detected in the VM persistent object store.

29. 518 Internal error.
30. 519 Internal error.
31. 520 Internal error.

32. 521 Indicates that Object.wait( ) has been executed by a thread that holds a lock on another object; occurs only in simulator if the JvmDebugWaits application switch.

33. 522 A thread has acquired two locks on objects in an order that doesn’t match the order that previous locks for the two types were acquired, which indicates a future potential deadlock situation; reported only in the simulator when the JvmDebugLocks application switch is set.

34. 523 A critical Java process has died and the device cannot continue to operate normally.

35. 524 An object has been marked as recovered by the Low Memory Manager but it was not freed during a garbage collection. This is only checked in the simulator under the control of the JvmDebugLMM application switch.

36. 525 Bad persistent object. An auto-commit operation during a garbage collection has detected a non-persistent object reachable from the persistent store root. The type of the object has been output into the event log.

37. 526 The class definition for java.lang.Object cannot be found.
38. 527 The class definition for java.lang.String cannot be found.
39. 528 The file system is corrupted. Data on the handheld is unrecoverable.

40. 529 The filbe system is corrupted. An attempt is going to be made to recover data, but some data might be lost.

41. 530 Internal JVM error.
42. 531 Flash memory has been exhausted.

43. 532 A JVM assertion has been violated. This error can occur only in the simulator, not on an actual handheld.

[Tuts]Menyelamatkan BlackBerry yg Ter-Nuked

Spoiler for tutor:

Perhatian : yang akan dijelaskan di tuts ini terbatas pada BlackBerry yg error karena OS, bukan karena kerusakan hardware/fisik (ic rusak, jatoh, kecemplung air dll), dan TIDAK ada jaminan apapun bahwa tuts ini bs menyelamatkan semua BB yg Nuked...semua kembali ke kondisi BB tsb (seberapa parah Nuked nya)


NOTE 1 : dengan menggunakan cara dibawah ini, semua data dan aplikasi BB akan hilang. Silahkan di restore dr back-up file setelah proses reload selesai.

NOTE 2 : Jika tidak berhasil → coba OS lain, coba PC lain dgn windows yg berbeda. Intinya adalah COBA TERUS dan ingat kalo tetep ga berhasil, artinya emang ga bs pake tuts ini → alias musti servis!

The Nuked Berry Problem
Masalah ini terjadi ketika BB secara terus menerus mengulang proses booting. Dimana ketika hal ini terjadi, akan sangat sulit bagi kita untuk melakukan proses Wipe dan re-load firmware, karena saat di sambungkan ke USB, BB akan terus menerus nyala dan mati (looping).
Hal ini dapat terjadi karena OS yg korup (bisa terjadi karena penambahan aplikasi pihak ke-3 yg tidak kompatible)

Gejala :
ketika dinyalakan : Led indikator akan menyala beberapa saat, di Layar akan muncul the hourglass of death, kemudian BB akan mati, setelah beberapa saat akan menyala kembali dan akan mengulang proses yg sama terus menerus.

Penyebab :

• 1. Firmware yg tidak cocok, jika baru melakukan upgrade firmware kemudian nuked, sebaiknya downgrade kembali ke firmware semula

• 2. Proses Install OS yg gagal karena mati lampu / putus di tengah jalan

• 3. Themes / aplikasi yg tidak cocok

• 4. Batre yg uda mo jebol

• 5. Ada yg mo nambahin?

Pertolongan Pertama : cabut batre, sim card + memory card, coba nyalakan lagi....kalo ga berhasil, lanjut ke cara di bawah


Yg diperlukan :
-BB Desktop manager v 4.6 or later
-BB Firmware (disarankan untuk menggunakan last known good stable firmware)
install firmware, jgn lupa delete file vendor.xml di Program Files → Common Files → Research in Motion → AppLoader → vendor.xml
-Komputer + Windows)


Cara ke#1 : The Windows Way

Step #1:
-Pastikan BB tidak terhubung ke kompie.
-Lepaskan simcard & memorycard
-Buka App Loader. Browse ke Program Files → Common Files → Research In Motion → AppLoader.



klik Next dan lanjut ke Step#2

Step#2:
Setelah Klik Next, App Loader akan menunggu koneksi BB ke USB (lihat pic),




perhatikan : yg kita perlukan adalah koneksi USB-PIN:UNKNOWN (lihat pic). bagaimana caranya supaya BB terdetek di USB? sedangkan BB sedang dalam keadaan Nuked?




triknya adalah :
Lepaskan Battery BB, kemudian sambungkan BB ke USB.

!!!!PENTING!!!!!!!

sesaat ketika BB di sambungkan ke USB, Led indikator akan menyala, perhatikan di window app loader, ketika tulisan berubah menjadi USB-PIN:UNKNOWN segera tekan NEXT

jika gagal, ulangi langkah diatas sampai terdeteksi PIN UNKNOWN

Tujuannya : menghentikan BB dari proses booting yg berulang terus supaya kita bs reload firmware

Jika berhasil, tinggal dilanjutkan ke Step#3 (JANGAN LUPA, SEGERA PASANG KEMBALI BATTEREY BB)


Step#3:
Reload Firmware dengan App Loader



Cara Ke#2: Old Skull Dos Prompt Mode

Yg diperlukan :
-BB Desktop manager v 4.6 or later
-BB Firmware (disarankan untuk menggunakan last known good stable firmware)
install firmware, jgn lupa delete file vendor.xml di Program Files → Common Files → Research in Motion → AppLoader → vendor.xml
-Komputer + windows + DOS

Pastikan Desktop Manager tidak sedang berjalan dan HUBUNGKAN BB ke USB

Step#1:
Pada windows, tekan Alt+R untuk menampilkan Menu RUN
ketik : command atau cmd

bisa jg cari shortcut dospromt jika ada.

Step#2:
Pada Dos Prompt, ketik : (setiap baris di enter ya...)
