How Important is English in Indonesia?

Dude, English is very important when it comes to business. English is just a plus point for you when you are trying to sell yourself for a hiring job. English is important if one of your family members are from the states, Britain, and so on.

I would like to define the meaning of important in this context, important means cannot live without. Tapi banyak orang di Indonesia bisa hidup tanpa bisa berbahasa Inggris, banyak orang yang sukses dan berstatus baik dalam finansial, tapi tidak bisa berbahasa Inggris. Maksud saya, orang Indonesia tetap bisa berkarier dan punya hidup layak tanpa mengerti bahasa Inggris.
