Confederations Cup win does not count - David Luiz

Agen Bola Terpercaya Cityholidaybet Reported - Brazil defender David Luiz has insisted that his side's Confederations Cup triumph last summer counts for nothing at the World Cup.
Luiz Felipe Scolari's side cruised to victory in the warm-up tournament 12 months ago, winning all of their games, including an impressive 3-0 thrashing of Spain in the final.
However, the Paris Saint-Germain centre-back is taking nothing for granted as the Selecao kick off their World Cup campiagn in Sao Paulo against Croatia on Thursday.
"The World Cup is a different tournament, in fact, [it is] the biggest of the tournaments," he told the Times of India.
"In football, past results don't count. So, we are trying to forget what happened a year ago [in the Confederations Cup]... and concentrate on the job at hand.
