This high clarity .45x optic glass lens attaches to the front of your SLR lens, fitting twice as much into your image. No more lopped off arms or shoulders!



Your range of view is double-fold. Just multiply your focal length by .45x. For example, an 18-55mm lens will now have the range of an unthinkable 8-25mm, giving your photos extra breathing room on all sides.

Q: Will the adapter work on my camera and lens?



A: The adapter is compatible with any SLR or DSLR lens that is able to wear a filter. This means it should have a thread (the part where you can screw a filter onto the front of the lens).



The adapter is 52mm in diameter, so it will fit on your lens without an adapter ring if your lens wears 52mm filters.



Q: Will it work with my non-DSLR?



A: It may! If you can use standard SLR-style filters on your lens, it should work. Some cameras have adapters that let them use standard SLR-mount filters. For example, this adapter for the Canon G9 allows you to use the Spy Lens!



Q: How do I know what kind of adapter ring I need?



A: If you already have a filter on your lens, it will have a number on it in millimeters. Your lens will probably have it written on it, also. You can even take a peek at the backside of your lenscap, it's written there too.

Q: What focal length should my lens be?



A: The wider your focal length is, the more of a wide angle effect you'll get with the adapter. We used a standard 50mm lens for our photos.



Q: How do I convert it into a macro lens?



A: Oh-so easy! The top part of the lens twists off. Unscrew it to remove the wide angle segment (and set it somewhere safe). Your adapter is now in macro mode!



Q: The corners of my photos look kind of fuzzy when I use the wide angle adapter. Is that normal?



A: Yep! This is vignetting that happens when you have a wider angle.
