Apakah Anda tahu, kalau sungai terpendek di dunia ada di Indonesia, tepatnya di Sulawesi Tenggara, Kecamatan Tamborasi, Kabupaten Kolaka.
Namanya Sungai Tamborasi

Sungai yang merupakan sungai terpendek di dunia dengan panjang +20 meter dan lebar +15 meter ini terletak +90 km dari kota Kolaka ke arah utara, tepatnya di Desa Tamborasi, Kecamatan Wolo. Untuk menuju kesana, pengunjung bisa menempuh jalan darat ataupun jalan laut +1-2 jam. Sepanjang jalan menuju Sungai Tamborasi, pengunjung juga bisa menikmati keindahan gunung yang mengandung batu marmer.

Hulu sungai dimana tempat mata air keluar, mengalir langsung dan berhubungan dengan laut yang berpasir putih membuat Sungai Tamborasi kian mempesona dan sayang untuk dilewatkan keindahannya.

Pesona lain dari sungai ini adalah keunikan jenis airnya, dimana Sungai Tamborasi mempunyai 2 macam air, yakni air air dingin yang keluar dari mata airnya langsung, sedangkan air laut yang berbatasan langsung terasa hangat, sehingga pengunjung mempunyai 2 pilihan untuk mandi, dengan air hangat atau air dingin.
