PST files comprises of large sized and there may be chance of data loss for that reason splitting of PST is used. Splitting of PST is a way of divided large PST data file into smaller parts, here I suggest manual solution for
divide PST file by using Move to Folder option.
Manual Steps to split PST file are-
Step 1: Open MS Outlook application and click on File menu.
Step 2: In the File menu click New.
Step 3: In the new option select Outlook Data File.
Step 4: Select Outlook Personal Folder File (.pst) on New Outlook Data File and click on OK.
Step 5: Create Microsoft Personal Folder dialog box will open and give a new name to PST file.
Step 6: Click Edit menu and Move to Folder and Move items .
Step 7: click on new button.
Step 8: In the Create New Folder dialog box write a name to new PST file and
Choose new PST file under Select where to place the folder and click OK.
Step 9: Select new folder to new PST file within Move items and click on OK button.
