Buku Sebelum trilogi The Lord of The rings, yaitu The Hobbit, sedang dikerjakan filmnya. Sekedar info, buku The Hobbit akan dibuat menjadi 2 film. Kisahnya sendiri tentang Bilbo, paman Frodo yang akan berkelana ke Gunung Sunyi dengan dwarfs dan Gandalf untuk mencari harta karun pada dwarfs yang direbut Smaugh (naga).
