MS-DOS, desktop pertama sistem operasi Microsoft saat ini berusia 30 tahun. MS-DOS diluncurkan pada tanggal 27 Juli 1981, setelah Microsoft membeli hak penuh untuk QDOS (Sistem Operasi Quick and Dirty), operasi sistem PC perusahaan yang diakuisisi dari Produk Seattle Computer seharga $ 50,000.
