"Vitally, my passengers and I were all fastened in our seatbelts. As the driver, I had absolutely no damage. However, two side airbags in my seat and one curtain airbag on the left side of my head detonated. The pyrotechnical seatbelt tensioners worked too.

The passenger sitting behind me, whose door got all the blows, had the same airbag safety and all the airbags worked. The door opened after the accident without problems. That passenger had one scratch on his face from a piece of glass from the broken window.

The last passenger sitting next to me had no airbag detonation and absolutely no damage either. The photos were taken the next day at the garage. Personally, I was impressed with the safety level of the car Volvo S40.
