Millward Brown merilis daftar 100 Merek Paling Bernilai 2012, Selasa (22/5/2012) ini. Apple masih menjadi pemuncak daftar tersebut dengan nilai 182,951 juta dollar AS.



Adapun urutan kedua ditempati oleh IBM yang berhasil menggeser Google dengan nilai merek 115,985 juta dollar AS. Google sendiri harus turun satu peringkat ke urutan ketiga dengan nilai merek 107,857 juta dollar AS.



Perusahaan-perusahaan yang teknologi mendominasi 10 besar merek paling bernilai ini, dengan menempatkan tujuh perusahaan di 10 besar.



Tiga perusahaan selain teknologi yang berhasil masuk 10 besar adalah McDonalds di peringkat empat dengan nilai merek 95,188 juta dollar AS, kemudian Coca Cola di urutan enam dengan nilai 74,286 juta dollar AS. Serta Marlboro di peringkat tujuh dengan nilai 73,612 juta dollar AS.
