Foursquare merupakan sebuah situs web jejaring sosial yang berdasar kepada lokasi dari si pengguna, software dari telepon selular, dan juga merupakan sebuah permainan. Pengguna dari situs web ini bisa memberitahukan lokasi terbarunya atau yang disebut check-in melalui sebuah aplikasi yang mendukungnya. Dalam melakukan check- in lokasi, pengguna akan mendapatkan sejumlah poin . Ketika pengguna melakukan check- in yang maka pengguna akan mendapatkan sebuah badge . Situs ini diciptakan oleh Dennis Crowley dan Naveen Selvadurai
