Went down to Bushy Park again this evening to see if there was any rut action. As usual it was all mouth and no trousers from the stags!</p>

<p>This was also my first real time out with the 600 since I got it boy do I love it! This stag had wondered past me and off towards the setting sun but when he started calling out I decided even though it would mean shooting almost in the sun direction, I'd try and get some of the lovely rim light this was producing on him.</p>

<p>D3, 600 + 1.4x TC, 850mm, 1/1000, f6.3, ISO 1400.</p>
