<p>I've avoided macro photography for so long thinking I needed an expensive 1.4 macro lens or something to make it worthwhile.</p>

<p>Well, lo and behold I discovered the beauty of macro filters, more specifically a set of 3 offered by Hoya for less than $50, and now I'm a happy macro camper <img src="http://thephotoforum.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Mr. Green" smilieid="44" class="inlineimg" /></p>
