So I got a 55-250mm IS, for Christmas, and have been dying to use it. Only Vancouver in the winter, means rain rain and more rain So it finally got partly sunny, but other then it poking his head out once in a while, it didn't come out much. But I'm way too stubborn, and anxious to wait. So I just made due. I'm still playing with camera settings, doing a trial and error approach to learning. This photo is fully zoomed with F/9, shutter-1/100, ISO-400 the camera is a rebel XS. I heard the sweet spot for this lens is F/8 So I was going slightly up or down from that, this one just happened to be f/9. I cropped out a bit more then half the original.
