Bought my first DSLR camera last week, and are keen to get involved with video capture as well, using my D3100. i have been doing video editing for 10 yeas, and have now moved on to bigger things . HD is now a possibility. I own a Nikon D3100, and was dissapointed to notice that the camera does not have a connection for an external mic. I now have to look at an alternate device. Anyone have any suggestions. I would like to mount the device on my camera using an adapter or hotshoe. Thanks.</p>
