I have been able to get a single computer to run 28 monitors. One of the different graphic cards I use has 4 DVI ports on a single slot pci card, this paired with a 7slot pci x16 mobo I can do 28 monitors. I just have to have the normal drivers installed and if it is xp I need to use an alternative monitor management system since it is over ten. I use ultramon.
