Faur Le Page (French pronunciation: [f.e lpa]) is a French firearms manufacturer (arquebusier and fourbisseur) established in Paris in 1717. Commissioned by the King Louis the XV of France from The House of Bourbon. This renowned house, founded by Louis Pigny remained in the same family until 1913. Throughout its history, the manufacturer was successively called Pigny, Le Page, Le Page Moutier and finally Faur Le Page in 1865. The brand's unique and luxurious craftsmanship quickly gathered a royal and imperial clientele especially the Russian Czars. The manufacturer's commitment to the French Revolution together with a wild recognition from famous authors have also enhanced the prestige of the brand. The company which had long made holsters and gun bags now also makes organizers and handbags. No other designers out there has such a rich history. The FLP store is next to Coco C**nel apartment and flagship C**nel store.
Founded early in the reign of Louis XV, the House of Faure Le Page earned its spurs as a master gunsmith to kings and princes. Seven generations of the same family each wrote a chapter in its thundering legend.
Excelling in a vast range of trades, their master craftsmen created exceptional pieces for the great and the good of the European courts. Lous XVI's hunting-pieces and Napoleon's vermeil saber are just the two of the masterworks that today are the pride and joy of the world foremost museums.
The Faure Le Page family defyingly entered the lists of French history when it handed out weapons to the revolutionary forces in 1789 and again in 1830. Writers of the caliber of Balza, Dumas, Chateaubriand, Pushkin and countless authors, all celebrate the House in notable novels.
Today, its collection of luxury bags decorated with its iconic "scale" motif, bears all the hallmarks of the glorious past allied to a deathless modernity.
