Why should you get a pair of vintage eyeglasses?
1. They last longer than typical sunglasses these days. They use a thicker and more robust acetate than modern frames. That's why you can see Ray Ban Bausch & Lomb that just last for over 40 years but still look flawless;
2. They are made in house by each respected brand, unlike today where they are generically made and designed in Italy, making the only difference from brand to brand just a mere logo brand, not the craftmanship of it;
3. Material used is far less superior than the vintage sunglasses. Vintage made sunglasses like Ray Ban, Moscot, use 18k gold plated parts for some of their metal hinges, making them as precious as they can be;
4. Unstable USD conversion rate made the sunglasses price in Indonesian currency pretty expensive.
