Splinter Cell game bertemakan agen rahasia yang di angkat dari novel ternama karya JT Petty "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell". Setelah sukses besar dengan sistem penjualan multiplatformnya(console, handheld, dan mobile), game Splinter Cell akan di remake kedalam versi HD untuk PlayStation 3. Ubisoft mengonfirmasikan game terbarunya Splinter Cell Trilogy untuk PlayStation 3 akan hadir pada tahun 2011.



Koleksi ini berisi 3 versi awal game ini termasuk: versi asli dari game Slinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow dan Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory dalam versi HD. Sedangkan tentang detailnya Ubisoft masih belum mau untuk mengungkapkan lebih banyak tentang game ini.



Tidak hanya game Splinter Cell saja yang hadir dalam Trilogy versi HD untuk PlayStation 3, namun beberapa waktu yang lalu game yang tak kalah terkenalnya seperti: Prince of Persia dari Ubisoft yang hadir dalam bentuk Trilogy pada awal tahun 2010.
