WWII Longines-Wittnauer US Air Force compass with box and pouch



Manufactured by Longines Wittnauer for the US Air Force in 1941. The nickel hunter case is in excellent, unissued condition. The case is plain, it does not have the letters U.S. stamped on it. 1.8" diameter. The dial is signed: Wittnauer. Flat, blue arrow shaped needle. Excellent hinge and release mechanism. The crystal has a tiny chip on the inside of the glass. The compass has its original cloth pouch and paper box and excellent condition.
