Each year the BaliSpirit Festival aims to deliver a groundbreaking program
that builds on the previous year in terms of quality and diversity. This is
made possible by the team of hard-working, dedicated and professional
team that we recruit. The Spirit Team program provides a unique chance
to contribute to an outstanding, magical international event.
Please Note: All Spirit Team positions are unpaid!
In return for their amazing efforts, Spirit Team members receive substantial
benefits, which are listed below;
Free entry to the festival, at both venues, on the day you volunteer
(different arrangements are made with those volunteering pre and post festival) worth up to $580.
1 meal per shift worked. Yes we cater for vegetarians!
Full training for the position you volunteer for.
Opportunity to use the festival as a reference for further festival work.
The opportunity to be part of this inspirational multi-national team.
We have a wide variety of positions available, in all areas of the festival.
Positions are based in one of four areas; our venues at Purnati and Arma,
or our office in Ubud, and roving positions dealing with artists and transport.
We are particularly looking for people with a strong interest in yoga, good
customer service skills, media and pr skills, interest in festival production
(previous experience an advantage but not required) or good admin skills,
however people with non of the above but who are enthusiastic about the
festival are also very welcome!
Just some of the positions we have available are:
Workshop space Coordinator
Stage runner
Information Stand Manager
Personal Assistant to Core Team Members
Media Centre Assistant
Artists Liaison Staff
Office Admin Staff
Shuttle Dispatch
This is an excellent chance to gain invaluable experience in the field of festival
management and production, as well as gaining entry to world-class concerts
and workshops.
There are two time periods available to volunteer for;
Prior to the festival, from 20th 27th March Excluding days for NYEPI.
Shifts are up to 8 hours in the office. This is full time position, requiring
a lot of commitment and is a great opportunity to gain practical work
experience.
During the festival, from March 28th - April 2nd (the Festival ends on
the 1st, but there is take down on the 2nd). Shifts are about 6 hours long
and preference will be given to those available for all 5 days, for any
6 hour period between 7am and 1am the following night.
People who can commit to every day in at least one of these periods will be
given preference.
