Java Developer - Global Equity Derivatives

Overview
The candidate will be working in the GED Trade and Product Lifecycle (TPL) Technology team, which is responsible for building Pricing, Booking and Workflow tools for Equity Derivatives and Securitised Product Sales, Trading and TMG groups globally.
The TPL team is currently starting a multi-year programme to replace the key tools used by the business areas above, covering the full trade lifecycle from initial pre-trade Sales/Trading pricing and negotiation, through booking and into post-trade lifecycle management.
The chosen architecture is C# for the GUI with all business logic and external systems interfacing carried out within a Java server-side tier.
Development is being driven from a number of Deutsche Bank offices, with the majority of the team planned for Jakarta, along with Manila, Singapore and Hong Kong
This role will be to act as a developer within the Jakarta office, working alongside senior developers to build functionality within the strategic platform to support the global business (both listed and OTC).
Deliverables will be focused on the Java side of the TPL programme, working alongside the global development team.
Key Responsibilities
� Working within the strategic roadmap and framework to deliver the future state architecture to the GED business community.
� Interfacing and engaging with other technical teams throughout GED including the TPL C# team and Risk Services teams to share knowledge and create synergies.
� Working within an agile process to deliver requirements in a timely manner to a global user community.
� Undertaking day to day development and problem solving as necessary.
Candidate requirements
You will have:
� Good Java and J2EE development experience.
� Experience with Unix, SQL and technical analysis skills.
� Exposure to equity derivatives would be an advantage.
You will be:
� An excellent communicator (both written and verbal).
� Able to work with a global development team structure.
� An excellent level of English.
� An excellent level of Deutsch.
The successful applicant will be offered IDR 18,500,000 to IDR 26,231,000 gross monthly salary, negotiable depending on qualifications and experience, plus excellent benefits.
