Started in the early 1989, a compassion idea to make a tasty food but healthy one, an Indonesian Chinese compassionate woman with noodle business family background, familiarly called Mrs. Ayung made a noodle recipe without preservatives. she began her adventure at a school near her house. Many tries and errors she made to perfect her recipe and now with the help of 5 employees, she has owned her small but crowded customers restaurant at her house, she named it Bakmi ayung. The restaurant famed because the kindness of the owner to give her best to the customers, mainly are; use the best ingredients, using no preservatives and only use traditional chicken (ayam kampung) so many customers said, even without addition entries such as chicken or pork meat it is TASTY. More over she gives many complementary such as the adding portion of noodle and items such as vegetables or chicken , giving cooked chicken claws or other parts of chicken which is not sell and fried skin pork or chu yu cha. why she did that, cause its better to give than to throw away.
She has various types of customers from many ethnics, even from Indonesian, because here she can made Halal noodle for Muslims people. Customers favorites choices are the noodles of course, fried meatball, porridge and dumpling soup. Surprisingly her favorites customers choices has traveled to other countries such as Hongkong, America, Australia, singapore, etc, why?, its because her customers in Indonesia always introduce this noodle to business partners, relative, etc which visited Indonesia and they always reorder the noodles repeatedly when they are in Indonesia. How the noodles survive, for noodles she prepare it raw and other ingredients she packed it separately, anyhow it works, but of course any dishes are best quality if you eat it at the spot. Uncooked noodle can stay only 3 or 4 days in a freezer and of course the color will change a bit because it has no preservatives, but it saves to enjoy.
